Velveeta® and RO*TEL® Smokie Sausage Dip

EASY Super simple crowd-pleasing dip. You need Four (4) of your favorite Lehr’s handcrafted smokies, One (1) package of VELVEETA, One (1) can RO*TEL® diced tomatoes and green chilies. You can easily make this dip in advance and just reheat before serving. Microwave, slow cooker, stovetop, whatever works for you. I garnish the top before serving, but it's not necessary, I just like hearing people say wow.

Ingredients

4 - Lehr’s Handcrafted Smokies sliced length wise. Turn and slice those into one quarter inch wide pieces resembling half moons (this just makes it prettier).

1 – One pound box of Velveeta® cut into half inch cubes

1 – 10 ounce can of RO*TEL® Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies, do not drain

Directions

Step 1

Put the Smokie Pieces, Velveeta® cubes and empty the can of diced tomatoes and green chilies into a MICROWAVABLE bowl. (Slow cooker or Stove top in pan)

Step 2

Microwave on high for 3 minutes and give it a stir. Microwave it again for 2 more minutes or until Velveeta® is completely melted. (For slow cooker set too low for 2 hours then stir, cook until completely melted. For Stovetop cook on low stirring frequently until completely melted.)

Step 3

EAT IT with whatever you like to eat dip with. (Garnish top with your favorite things to make it pretty if you want)

Store leftover dip in an airtight container for up to 3 days.  You just reheat the dip in the microwave, slow cooker or on the stovetop before serving. For a large party or just a huge craving, double the recipe. That way you might have some leftovers to enjoy.
